It provides added value, innovative and timely advice, and subject matter expertise on CIMIC for both civilian and military customers.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/allianceforpeacebuilding.org\/\" target=\"_self\" itemprop=\"url\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/utsyn2.komhit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/alliance-for-peacebuilding-logo-300x207-1.jpeg\" alt=\"alliance-for-peacebuilding-logo-300x207\" title=\"alliance-for-peacebuilding-logo-300x207\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\n<p>This membership network devoted to building peace in the world until we all feel secure, dignified, and included. This network connects working groups specifically in the areas of policy and advocacy, learning and evaluation, and public awareness and partnerships.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.civilaffairsassoc.org\/\" target=\"_self\" itemprop=\"url\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/utsyn2.komhit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/CA_Association-Logo-new-285x300-1.jpg\" alt=\"CA_Association-Logo-new-285x300\" title=\"CA_Association-Logo-new-285x300\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\n<p>An American veterans organization with the aim of advocating for civil affairs within the national Department of Defense in order for maximum capability of civil affairs to be carried out. They have published several interesting pieces relating to our project. Of special note would an article written by our very own Col Christopher Holshek, an article published in Army Magazine, &#8220;At 100, Civil Affairs is Coming of Age&#8221;.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.narrative-strategies.com\/\" target=\"_self\" itemprop=\"url\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/utsyn2.komhit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/narrative-strategies.jpg\" alt=\"narrative-strategies\" title=\"narrative-strategies\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\n<p>Here is another coalition to which our Col Christopher Holshek is a member. It is a coalition working on non-kinetic aspects of counter-terrorism, defeating violent extremism, irregular warfare, large-scale conflict mediation, and peace-building.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalserviceride.net\/\" target=\"_self\" itemprop=\"url\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/utsyn2.komhit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/national-service-ride-project-logo.jpg\" alt=\"national-service-ride-project-logo\" title=\"national-service-ride-project-logo\" itemprop=\"image\"  \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\n<p>An initiative of Col Christopher Holshek with the angle of, in his own words, &#8220;encouraging a broad-based ethos of community and national service, helps to improve civilian resilience through citizen empowerment.&#8221; This project is based on his book &#8220;Travels with Harley &#8211; Journeys in Search of Personal and National Identity,&#8221; which is definitely worth a read.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<h3>CONTACT<\/h3>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>Resilient Civilians is a research project led by UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and is partly funded by the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme, as well as by the partner institutions.
